World Cup 2026: Scotland squad numbers revealed with Angus Gunn handed No 1 jersey ahead of Craig Gordon

Scotland's squad numbers for the World Cup have been revealed.

Hearts' Craig Gordon is tipped to start in goal, but will wear No 21 with Nottingham Forest's Angus Gunn handed the No 1 shirt.

Captain Andy Robertson will wear his usual No 3, Scott McTominay is No 4 as expected, with John McGinn in his trademark No 7 shirt for Scotland.

Late addition Tyler Fletcher gets No 8, which is presumably a straight swap for the injured Billy Gilmour and not a hint that the Manchester United teenager will start for Steve Clarke.

In attack, Lyndon Dykes gets No 9 and Che Adams No 10 ahead of Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland, who will wear No 20.
